Made Perfect in Christ

And you have been filled in Him. He is the head of all rulers and authorities. (Colossians 2:10)
Today many Christians are in a dilemma. They seem as though they cannot die. Today they are bad, and tomorrow they will still be bad. No matter how much they try to be good, they try in vain. Oh, I say that it is a mistaken gospel that calls on you to do it by yourself.
Everything is done for us by Christ. This is His work. We must reckon on what He has done. What the Lord Jesus has accomplished is to make us perfect in Him; and the Holy Spirit within us incorporates everything that is in Christ. He not only died but was also raised. When Christ died, we also died; when He was raised, we were also raised; and when He ascended, we also ascended. Our inheritance in Him in fact far surpasses our hope.
